ΠΑΝΘΕΟΝ Review
Sweetest ray of morning sun opened doors for the gentle wind, first breath of warmth and bliss. Promise of summer was whispered by leaves on the trees, slowly brewed up in soil it was ready to unfold. New cycle of beauty, new kinds of aromas, longer days and warmer nights... Crickets filled every evening with anticipation, singing their noisy sonatas to the sparkles in the sky. Rhythms of awakening, humming of thousands of tiniest creatures, a new mantra for the new cycle. Summer was almost here for another three months — they'll pass like everything else, but its sensations will stay...

album recording history:
The album was recorded during the 3 summer months of 2015. The play 'June (Mantra)' was first performed live as part of a set at the Green Travel Fest ambient music festival on May 30, 2015. In June, the play was replayed-rewritten alive at White Art Studio. Instruments: Ocarins, tone-block, bamboo maracas, karatalas, harp, voice (drone voice), Novation Nova synthesizer, Korg Kaossilator Pro, Korg Kaoss Pad, Roland SP-404SX samplers. Recorded at Zoom R8, final mixing done in DAW Reaper 4.

The tracks of 'July' and 'August' are based on fragments of my audio diary, which I regularly “conduct” during walks and trips. In this case, field recordings were taken made in July-August in the Peredelkino writing village near Moscow and during walks in Izmailovsky Park (Moscow). For the creation of the electronic component of these plays, for the first time in my practice, exclusively musical software on Linux was used (ZynAddSubFX and Yoshimi synthesizers, a Hydrogen drum sampler, SooperLooper looper, DAW Ardor 4), an old Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with Linux Mint 17.2 installed, “marching »Behringer U-Control UCA 222 audio interface, Korg NanoKey2 and Akai MPK Mini two-octave MIDI keyboards.
Both tracks were recorded in real time using the SooperLooper phrase sampler. After that, the tracks were mixed in DAW Ardour 4 using Calf plugins and adding field recording tracks. Final normalization is performed in the Audacity editor.
All field recordings were made on Zoom H1 and Zoom Q2HD recorders.
In the finale of the track 'August' - a Russian folk song (fragment) is played by Lukery Kosheleva (voice is distorted by the pitch).

Альбом был записан в течение 3-х летних месяцев 2015 года. Пьеса 'June (Mantra)' впервые была исполнена живьем в рамках сета на фестивале эмбиент-музыки Green Travel Fest 30 мая 2015 года. В июне пьеса была живьем переиграна-перезаписана в студии White Art Studio. Инструменты: окарины, тон-блок, бамбуковый маракас, караталы, варган, голос (drone voice), синтезатор Novation Nova, сэмплеры Korg Kaossilator Pro, Korg Kaoss Pad, Roland SP-404SX. Записано на портастудию Zoom R8, финальное сведение выполнено в DAW Reaper 4.

В основу треков 'July' и 'August' легли фрагменты моего аудиодневника, который я регулярно «веду» во время прогулок и поездок. В данном случае были взяты полевые записи, сделанные в июле-августе в подмосковном писательском поселке Переделкино и во время прогулок в Измайловском парке (Москве). Для создания электронной составляющей этих пьес впервые в моей рактике был использован исключительно музыкальный софт на бызе Linux (синтезаторы ZynAddSubFX и Yoshimi, барабанный сэмплер Hydrogen, лупер SooperLooper, DAW Ardour 4), старенький ноутбук Dell Inspiron 1525 с установленной ОС Linux Mint 17.2, «походный» аудиоинтерфейс Behringer U-Control UCA 222, двухоктавные миди-клавиатуры Korg NanoKey2 и Akai MPK Mini.
Оба трека записаны в реальном времени с использованием фразового сэмплера SooperLooper. После чего дорожки были сведены в DAW Ardour 4 с использованием плагинов Calf и добавлением дорожек полевых записей. Финальная нормализация выполнена в редакторе Audacity.
Все полевые записи сделаны на рекордерах Zoom H1 и Zoom Q2HD.
В финале трека 'August' звучит русская народная песня (фрагмент) в исполнении Лукерьи Кошелевой (голос искажен питчем).
